Our baby Liloo has her very first meal with us at home, and happily afterwards!
After bringing home our fur-baby Liloo in late 2004 , we were faced with the difficulties of seeking out places in the Markham/Richmond Hill area where other proud new fur-parents could go with their new pups.
Hard as we tried, we simply couldn't find many, and even then those few destinations were more welcoming of the parents instead of their fur-baby!
With mom, dad and fur-baby in tow, we travelled far-and-wide throughout southern Ontario, visiting many pet shops, boutiques & big-box merchants along the way, looking for anything related to fur-baby items.
Realizing there weren't enough places one could go for knowledgable dog related resources (such as human-grade healthy foods & treats), and most importantly a safe spa / grooming environment, Liloo inspired us to create a true welcoming place for what would ultimately become The Uptown Dog.

We met many other fur-baby parents who had expressed their desire (as did we) to find a place where one could walk-in with their dog, and feel welcomed.
